Ingredients for Cooking Corn Soup

Cooking Corn Soup:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


First of all, we start preparing vegetables. We peel onions, a piece of ginger root and carrots. We cut the rhizome of green onions, and the stem of the pepper. Then we thoroughly wash these vegetables with celery stalks and cilantro branches under cold running water. Dry with paper kitchen towels, alternately stack on a cutting board and cut. Onions with a medium cube.

Green onions and cilantro shred.

Cut the carrots into rings or rub on a coarse grater.

Sweet pepper julienne.

Celery slices.

We leave a piece of ginger whole.

We sort the boiled chicken into fibers and lay out the crushed products in separate deep plates.

Using a key for canned food, open a jar of corn and plums liquid. We also put on the kitchen table the remaining ingredients that will be needed for making corn soup.

Step 2: stew onions, carrots and salad peppers.


Now turn on the fire to a medium level, put on a stove a deep pan with a thick bottom and pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into this container. When the oil is slightly warmed up, put the carrots in a pan and simmer it 2 - 3 minutes. After we add onions and sweet pepper to it. Stew these vegetables together until soft. another 3 minutesstirring occasionally with a kitchen spatula.

Step 3: bring the soup to full readiness.


Now pour 2 liters of chicken broth into the pan, add a piece of peeled ginger and celery slices. We increase the fire to a high level, bring the broth to a boil and again reduce the temperature to an average level. Cook stewed vegetables 5 minutes. Then we add corn grains to the pan and cook soup 7 minutes.

After 7 minutes, helping ourselves with a slotted spoon, remove the ginger root from the pan. Add chicken, green onions, cilantro, salt and black pepper to taste in this container. Cook the first hot dish yet 2 - 3 minutes. After we turn off the stove and insist the soup under the lid 10 - 12 minutes. Then we pour it with the ladle on plates and serve it to the dining table.

Step 4: serve the corn soup.


Corn soup is served hot as the first course to the dining table. If desired, each portion of this dish can be seasoned with homemade sour cream or cream. This soup is ideally complemented with croutons with cheese or crackers. Although it is pleasant to savor it with ordinary fresh bread. Enjoy it!
