Ingredients for Salad with Cucumber and Cheese

Cooking a salad with cucumber and cheese:

Step 1: prepare the chicken eggs.


This type of salad is not only tasty and healthy, but also very satisfying, completely replacing a light breakfast or dinner. So, first with a soft kitchen sponge, wash the raw chicken eggs under a stream of cold running water. Why do this? Everything is simple! So that during the heat treatment the harmful substances located on the surface of the shell do not penetrate the protein through the expanding pores.

Step 2: cook the chicken eggs.


Next, put the eggs in a small saucepan, add to them a couple of tablespoons of salt, 9-% vinegar, pour purified water above their level by 2-3 centimeters, put on medium heat and cook after boiling 10-11 minutes hard boiled. Then, helping ourselves with a slotted spoon, we move this ingredient into a bowl of ice water and cool to room temperature.

Step 3: prepare the boiled chicken eggs.


After some time, when the eggs have cooled, remove the shell from them, rinse again, dry with paper kitchen towels, put on a cutting board, cut into cubes and transfer to a deep bowl.

Step 4: prepare hard cheese.


After that, we cut off the paraffin crust from a hard cheese with a clean knife and chop it on a coarse grater or chop it, like the previous product, and send it after it into the same bowl.

Step 5: prepare vegetables and herbs.


Now peel the garlic and rinse it under water with cucumber, as well as your favorite greens. Dry everything with paper towels and continue preparation. If desired, remove the peel from the cucumbers and grind them into cubes, straws, rings, half rings or their quarters.

Dill and green onions just chop finely.

Cloves of garlic are passed through a special press, put the rest of the necessary ingredients on the countertop and proceed to the next step.

Step 6: bring the salad with cucumber and cheese to full readiness.


In a deep bowl with boiled chopped chicken eggs, as well as cheese, put chopped cucumber, dill with green onions and squeezed garlic. Season everything to taste with salt, sour cream or mayonnaise and mix with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency. Salad ready!

Step 7: serve the salad with cucumber and cheese.


Salad with cucumber and cheese is served at room temperature immediately after cooking, so that the vegetable juice does not have time to drain. Serve it in a dish specially designed for this purpose or in portions on plates as a snack before the first or second hot dishes. - an alternative to sour cream or mayonnaise - sour-milk yogurt without additives or cream, and hard cheese - "Feta", feta cheese or regular cottage cheese;

- if desired, the finished salad can be seasoned to taste with black or allspice;

- very often a set of ingredients is supplemented with ham, boiled meat of any kind, fried mushrooms, savoy cabbage, tomatoes and parsley, of course, this will not be a clean salad with cucumbers and cheese, but it will turn out very tasty too.
