Step 1: Prepare the dry ingredients.

Step 2: Cook the dough.

Then we put a small pot on the burner and turn on a small fire. We spread the butter and, with constant stirring with a kitchen spatula, melt to a liquid state. Oil can be melted in the microwave, it will turn out even faster. In any case, hot butter needs to be cooled, for this we simply set it aside.

Next, wash the eggs under hot running water. One - carefully divided into yolk and protein. Yolk can be used to prepare other tasty dishes, but the protein is far from being removed, we will need it soon. The other two are broken into a separate plate, add water and beat thoroughly with a whisk. Then we pour the cooled butter, vanilla extract to them (it is added for a more saturated aroma and is optional) and again we beat everything well until smooth.

Now gradually pour the dry mixture (from flour, baking powder and salt) into a plate with beaten eggs, while stirring with a whisk.

The dough will be sticky and very soft, so pour the remaining 75 g of flour in parts and knead the homogeneous dough with your hands.

This process should not take more than 2 minutes.

Step 3: We form bows.

Then we rub the rolling pin with flour, sprinkle it on a flat surface, divide the dough in half and begin to roll out. It is desirable to roll out the dough into a layer resembling a rectangle, and as thin as possible. Then we cut it with a sharp knife first into longitudinal strips.

After doing a few transverse. In our case, we got 3 by 6 centimeters rectangles, but you can change the size of your own free will, depending on which bows you ultimately want to get.

After we lay them out nicely on plates and while hot, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Step 5: Serve the cookie.

Cookies "Sugar bows" are served in a cooled form to the dessert table. Perfectly combined with aromatic tea, coffee, hot chocolate or milk. Choose your favorite drink and enjoy!
