Making puff pastry rolls with pear:

Step 1: prepare the dough.

2 - 3 hours before starting to cook the buns, lay the frozen puff pastry on the kitchen table. Remove the top layer of the packaging (plastic film) from it and defrost it.

Step 2: prepare the pears.

Before starting the formation of buns, turn on and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. We also cover the non-stick baking sheet with a sheet of baking paper. Now we take 2 pears, remove the stalks from them, wash the fruits under cold running water and dry them with paper kitchen towels.
Then we peel them, put on a cutting board and cut each pear into 4 equal parts. From each part we remove the core.
We shift them into a deep plate and pour slices of pears with concentrated lemon juice so that they do not darken before the formation of rolls.

Step 3: we form buns from puff pastry with a pear.

Next, sprinkle the countertop with a thin layer of sifted wheat flour, 2 to 3 pinch are quite enough. We spread the thawed puff pastry on the flour and roll it out using a rolling pin into a small rectangle. It is desirable that its thickness does not exceed 5 - 7 millimeters.

Then we take a very sharp knife and cut the rolled dough into 8 squares of equal diameter. In the middle of each we spread 1 slice of pears. Sprinkle each serving of fruit with sugar, half a tablespoon each slice, and ground cinnamon to taste.

Then, in turn, we connect the opposite ends of each square, leaving free cuts between them. We transfer the formed buns to a baking sheet prepared for baking and proceed to the next step.

Step 4: bake puff pastry rolls with pear.

Using a baking brush, grease all the buns with sour cream, send them to the preheated oven and bake 18 - 20 minutes. After the required time, we put on kitchen gloves in our hands, take out a baking tray with pastries from the oven and put it on a cutting board, previously laid on the kitchen table.

Alternately pry each puff with a kitchen spatula, shift them onto a metal grate and cool to room temperature. After we put them on a large flat dish and serve.

Step 5: serve the puff pastry rolls with pear.

Buns from puff pastry with pear are served warm or at room temperature. If desired, they are sprinkled with icing sugar or served with sugar syrup before serving. Very often, such rolls are supplemented with several types of creams: custard, Charlotte cream or lemon. It is pleasant to enjoy this dessert in the "company" of hot tea!
Enjoy your meal!
