Ingredients for Making Hot Sausage Sandwiches

Making hot sausage sandwiches:

Step 1: prepare the loaf.

Put the baton on a cutting board and use a knife to cut into thin slices. Shredded bread is moved to a large free plate and briefly set aside.

Step 2: prepare hard cheese.

Using a coarse grater, we grate hard cheese directly on a cutting board. Then pour the chips into a clean plate.

Step 3: prepare half-smoked sausage.

We lay out the smoked sausage on a cutting board and, using a knife, peel the protective film. Then cut the component into thin strips and transfer to a free plate. Attention: in fact, it doesn’t matter what shape the sausage slices will be, the taste of this dish will not change. You can cut the component into circles, a crescent, or even into cubes.

Step 4: prepare the sauce for the dish.

Pour some mayonnaise and ketchup into a deep bowl so that their proportions are one to one. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. This will be our sauce! But before preparing sandwiches, be sure to taste the mixture and, if necessary, add one or another component.

Step 5: prepare hot sandwiches with sausage.

We grease each piece of bread with a small amount of sauce and then put it on a baking sheet, which we pre-cover with baking paper or food foil. We place several strips of sausage on top.

At the end, sprinkle sandwiches with grated hard cheese and turn on the oven. When it warms up to temperature 180 degrees, put the container with the dish on the average level and cook everything for 10 minutes.
Then, carefully using kitchen tack, we do not fully get the pan and check the degree of readiness of the sandwiches. To do this, it is enough to slightly lift a few of them with a fork or a wooden spatula and see how much they browned at the base. If the bread has already turned golden, then turn off the oven, and take out the pan and set aside. If not, then extend the baking time yet for 2-4 minutes.
At the end, set the dish aside and let cool slightly.

Step 6: serve hot sausage sandwiches.

Using hot wooden spatulas, we transfer the still hot sandwiches with sausage to a special flat plate and serve it with a fragrant tea or coffee to the dinner table.
