Ingredients for Making a Changeling Pie in a Multicooker
For the pie
- Apples 4 pieces
- 5 eggs
- Sugar 5 tablespoons
- Wheat flour 5 tablespoons (with a hill)
- Dough baking powder 1 sachet
- Vanilla to taste
- Salt 1 pinch
- Ground cinnamon to taste

Slow cooker, mixer, deep plate, silicone spatula, kitchen knife, cutting board, flat plate, serving dish, colander.
Cooking Changeling Pie in a slow cooker:
Step 1: prepare the apples.
Rinse apples, remove twigs and peel. Cut the fruit into quarters and cut a seed box from each. Cut the remaining pulp into medium-sized cubes.
Step 2: stew the apples.
Put prepared apples in a multicooker bowl, pour them one glass water, add vanilla extract and ground cinnamon. In mode "cooking" cook apples for 10 minutesstirring occasionally.
After cooking, the apples will become much softer, most importantly, do not digest them, the slices should remain whole. Fold the fruit in a colander to drain excess water. Leave the apples to cool at room temperature.
Step 3: prepare the caramel.
Pour into the empty multicooker bowl 5 tablespoons Sahara. Choose function frying and cook until the sugar melts and turns into a brown liquid mass.
As a result, you will get thick caramel at the bottom of the bowl.
Step 4: prepare the dough.
Set all the ingredients you need to make the dough.
Separate the whites from the yolks. For the time being, put the yolks aside, and whisk the whites with a mixer in a thick foam, gradually adding sugar.
When the protein mass becomes so dense that it will not leak when tilted, proceed to the next step in preparing the dough.
Add vanilla extract and yolks to the proteins. Mix gently, taking care not to destroy the structure of the protein foam.
Sift wheat flour with baking powder and salt and add them to the egg mass. All the same, carefully knead the dough until a homogeneous consistency. Shuffle everything by moving the spatula from top to bottom.
Step 5: bake the pie-changer in the slow cooker.
In the bowl of the multicooker, place the boiled apples on top of the caramel, smooth the pieces of fruit so that they lie almost in an even layer.
Fill the fruit with dough from above, and even out again. Close the cooker lid and select a mode "bakery products" (temperature 180 degrees) Set the timer to 45 minutes and press the start button.
When the flapper cake is ready, carefully open the crock-pot bowl and let the product cool. Only after this, the pastries can be removed by gently shaking it on a serving dish. Apples under the caramel will just be on top of the pie. Looks very tasty!
Step 6: Serve the Changeling Pie.
Cut the pie-changer into portioned pieces and serve with hot tea or coffee. It turns out a very delicious dessert or afternoon snack. Such baking is an occasion in itself to get everyone together and drink tea.
