Cooking rice with mushrooms:

Step 1: prepare the pic.

We put the right amount of rice on the kitchen table, sort it out, removing any litter, and then send whole grains of cereal into a deep bowl. Do not rinse or soak in water!

Step 2: prepare vegetables and herbs.

Next, peel the onions and carrots from the skin, and cut the roots of the mushrooms. After that, we wash them with parsley under a stream of cold running water, dry the vegetables with paper kitchen towels, and with greens we shake off the excess liquid above the sink. Then, in turn, lay out these ingredients on a cutting board and grind. Champignon - layers with a thickness of up to 1 centimeter or cut each into 4-6 pieces.

Onions - diced in size up to 1 centimeter. We chop the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into slices, rings or half rings thick 5 to 7 millimeters. Finely chop the greens and distribute all the slices into separate bowls. Next, lay out on the kitchen table the remaining products that will be needed to prepare the dish, and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: fry the vegetables.

We put on a medium fire a cast-iron cauldron, a deep frying pan or a non-stick saucepan with a thick bottom and pour vegetable oil there. After a few minutes, we dip the mushrooms in the heated fat and simmer until the moisture evaporates completely. After that, add onions with carrots to them and fry them together until a light golden crust, it will take about 4-5 minutes.

Step 4: bring the dish to full readiness.

As soon as the vegetables are browned, pour rice grains there, mix everything, fry 2-3 minutes and pour 2 cups of purified water. After boiling the liquid, season the still raw dish to taste with salt, black pepper, reduce the heat to a small level and simmer the fragrant dish under a covered lid until rice is fully cooked, which is approximately 15-20 minutes. Time may vary depending on the type of cereal. When the vegetables are stewed, the grains will boil, swell and become soft, sprinkle them with chopped parsley, turn off the stove and, covering, insist rice with mushrooms 7-10 minutes.

Step 5: serve rice with mushrooms.

Rice with mushrooms is a delicious and very satisfying dish. After cooking, it is insisted, then mixed to a homogeneous consistency with steamed greens, laid out in portions on plates and served hot as a second dish. Along with it you can serve a salad of fresh vegetables or pickles. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal!
