Making stewed apples and apricots:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


First, wash the fruits under cold running water and dry them with paper kitchen towels. Then we sort the apricots into halves and get rid of the seeds. Then, using a sharp kitchen knife, we cut each apple into two parts and remove the core with stones and the stalk from them. After that, cut the halves of the fruit into large slices 1.5-2 centimeters thick, put on the kitchen table the remaining ingredients that will be needed to prepare the drink, and proceed to the next step.

Pour into the deep pan the right amount of purified water. Pour granulated sugar there, put chopped fruits and put everything on a strong fire. After boiling, reduce it to an average level. Stewed apples and apricots are served warm or chilled or at room temperature. It is served in a decanter, jug or portions in bowls, as well as glasses. Very often the drink is filtered through a sieve with a fine mesh to get rid of the boiled fruit.
